Our History

2013 – Mike “Robb Highland” Kaneb joins interfaith media group Pamplin Professional Primate Partnership (PPPP) as regional manager at their headquarters in Rutland, MA.

2014 – Pamplin Professional acquires Pooh Corner Bar & Grill in Watertown, CT.

2016 – Pooh Corner relocates to Torrington, CT and re-opens as Pooh Corner Resort Casino (PCRC).

2018 – After the closure of the Interfaith Council of Northwest Connecticut, Pamplin Professional creates the Interfaith Council of North Connecticut (ICNC) and launches the Dank Meme ministry program with the slogan, “If It Ain’t Dank, Leave It Blank!”

2019 – ICNC begins offering free certificates of ordination and honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees in coordination with the Universal Life Churches of Modesto and Seattle, and co-sponsors the 1st Annual Torrington Anarchist Bookfair.

2020 – ICNC co-sponsors the 2nd Annual Torrington Anarchist Bookfair, begins offering Interfaith Ministry Certification Classes, and introduces Taco Casino, an interfaith ministry program focusing on wholesome food, responsible gambling, and restorative justice for systematically oppressed peoples.

2021 – ICNC premieres the ICNC Sunday School ministry, partially inspired by the anarchist/libertarian Modern Sunday Schools of the early 20th century. Taco Casino announces the Torrington Tortilla Tournament ministry program in conjunction with the NCAA Mens and Womens’ basketball tournaments.
